How to fix our American economy and create jobs: a 17 point progressive program

You are accountants.  You are financial problem solvers.  You advise clients on their finances.  You show them not only how they are doing, but advise them on how to improve operations and profitability.  You are good at what you do.

Our country is bleeding to death.  Property values are plummeting; property taxes are increasing; jobs continue to go overseas; the trade deficit continues to climb; energy prices are skyrocketing; health insurance costs are at an all-time high; real disposable incomes continue to shrink; militarily spending absorbs too much of our GDP….

Our country needs answers.  We need your solutions.  You are the financial wizards.  You can do it.  Here’s the ball.  Step up to the plate.  Go for it.  What would you do to fix our economy and create jobs?

I have listed 17 progressive changes in five minutes.  Many of you will accuse me of being radical, if not worse.  So be it.  But we need dramatic changes now.  If you wish to read my proposals, please visit How to fix our American economy and create more jobs? A 17 point progressive program to stop the hemorrhaging of our country’s life blood!

Step up to the plate and present your solutions, your proposals, your ideas (without personal attacks or name calling…lol).  Present a reasoned debate.  We may have lost much in our country but we still have a free voice.  Please express yours, and propose solutions.

Here’s your opportunity.  Thank you.

I walk around shacking my head so much , I get dizzy and must severely limit news intake. I 10 year old could effectively counter the gop/conservative/corporate/ rich person protection racket drivel constantly posed in media. Noone brings up the obvious, that we keep doing things to make it worse, piling gifts and bounty [stolen from widows and orphans] into the arms of wealthy hoping the pile is deep enough to hire someone. The rich person , and the 10 year old both know that they don’t hire because of gifts, they hire for increased demand. Also noone points out that the gop votes against even conservative things that help america like 1,not rewarding companies for moving jobs overseas. 2, requiring that gov. and contractors use american products.3 preventing companies from claiming that all of there profit came from overseas unit, and just keeping it there till they get their lobbiests to push for tax holiday on bringing that profit home, always sold as a job creator, never happens. Where are the democrats , or media people telling the truth, Its not a tax increase it is the end of an irresponsible revenue destroying tax eliminator for the rich for 10 years. I get so sick of blatant lies uncontested

    • It is important to note that both Adolf Hitler and Joseph Goebbels knew and proved that if one told a big lie and repeated it many times, that the majority of the general public would believe it.

Joseph Goebbels made the following two statements about propaganda:

“The most brilliant propagandist technique will yield no success unless one fundamental principle is borne in mind constantly – it must confine itself to a few points and repeat them over and over.”

“The bigger the lie, the more it will be believed.”

Today the Republican GOP propaganda lie is the following mantra: to create jobs we need to cut taxes.

Cutting corporate and individual taxes will not create jobs in America. It will only make the rich richer and the rest of us poorer.
