The taxpayers of Berlin, Connecticut cannot afford another increase in property taxes. We, the undersigned taxpayers, petition you to hold the line on property taxes and not to increase property taxes as long as unemployment remains above 5% in our country. It is time to exercise fiscal restraint. No more increases in property taxes until or unless our economy recovers.
Many of your citizens are suffering severe economic hardships, including the loss of jobs and homes, if not bankruptcy. Please stop raising property taxes in Berlin, Connecticut.

Ha – You think this years tax increase is a lot wait until revaluation and when the $70,000,000 High School comes due in 2013/14. The ONLY way to stop them is VOTE THEM OUT in November. I can not for the life of me see how theses people get re-elected -especially Steve Morelli.

Yes, I know what will happen to property taxes in Berlin, Connecticut in the near future. That is why I am petitioning Mayor Salina. We need to hold the line on taxes by bringing to the forefront of everyone’s attention.
